As the year whispers its final notes and winter cloaks Huangshan’s breathtaking peaks, embark on a 6-day retreat to awaken your soul. Picture snow-draped pines standing in serene silence, mineral springs inviting you into their warm embrace, and each day unfolding with peace and purpose.

Over 20 years of teaching, I’ve discovered that winter holds a profound wisdom. When we stop resisting its chill and instead lean into it, we uncover lessons in stillness, beauty, and the power of going inward. With every mindful movement and every snowy breath, healing takes root.

 

Every detail of this retreat is crafted to honour winter’s magic. Imagine flowing through yoga poses on a heated deck surrounded by pristine frost or gazing at midnight snowfalls — poetry come to life. Almen Wong
Almen, the first Bikram-trained teacher in Hong Kong, introduced hot yoga to the city. She transformed from a strict teacher to one who embraces light-heartedness and fun, thanks to Baron Baptiste. Influenced by Paul Grilley and David Swenson, she developed a deep understanding of anatomy, Yin Yoga, and flexible Ashtanga Yoga practices. Her engaging classes emphasise alignment, foundational strength, and revisiting basics for advancing practice.
