Self-Care Series: Healthy Spine
The Self-Care Series focuses on personal well-being. Classes are designed to release stress and tension from daily life, giving both body and mind the space to unwind and let go. This series is comprised of four classes, each exploring a different way to redirect attention back to us so that we may nourish our bodies and minds.
This healing class focuses on the spine and its surrounding muscles. The sequence incorporates gentle movements that open the body and increase range of motion, keeping the spine supple and the muscles healthy. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
Suitable for different levels of students interested in working on their spine mobility.

Props such as belts, bolsters, blocks, chairs and blankets are used with the purpose of supporting the body while exerting minimal physical effort in the asanas. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
