then traveled to India to study 500 hours of yoga training and gained certification as a yoga teacher. For him, yoga is not just physical exercise but also inner cultivation of the self.

 

He holds an E-RYT certification from Yoga Alliance USA and is further studying Yin Yoga under Josh Summers and Sarah Powers. In 2016 he also graduated from the Blue Mountains School of Sound Therapy in Australia.

 

Chris Su is a pioneer of mindfulness-based Yin Yoga teacher trainings in Malaysia, sharing workshops globally for many years. In 2019 he published his first book “Finding Your Self” in Taiwan and in 2022 while residing in Hong Kong, he published his second book “Yoga for Urban Dwellers, Creating Personal Healing”.

 

Currently, Chris Su resides in Osaka, Japan where he is beginning work on his third book about vocal sound healing through overtone singing.
