** At Yamuna, we choose not to provide handouts for our workshops because we believe it’s important for participants to fully experience the work in their bodies. **

 

Save Your Shoulders (2.0 hour)

Tools: Gold or Pearl & 2 Black balls

Your shoulders joint connects your hands and arms to your head, neck and torso, making it one of the most used and injury prone parts of the body. In this workshop, you will learn techniques to care for your shoulders and keep them aligned, tension free and flexible so you can keep them free of injury. This workshop is also recommended to rejuvenate your shoulders if you are recovering from an injury. With these exercises you can realign, free restrictions and heal your shoulders.

 

 

Save Your Back (2.0 hours)

Tools: Gold or Pearl & 2 Black balls

If you feel tightness of your back, whether from sitting or standing for too long, or from any activities, this is a workshop for you.  You will learn how to release your upper, middle and lower back in this workshop.

We will start with releasing your lower back.  It is great for stiff lower back pain, herniated disks, or sciatica. You will learn how to connect your abdominal muscles with your spine to support healthy lower back function.

 

Your middle back is the area of the body that houses your lungs and heart. We will look at how to strengthen and free that area, for improved circulation and body movement. You will learn to lengthen and free up your thoracic vertebrae and ribcage.

 

After that we will focus on your upper back – your shoulders up to your skull. You will learn to keep this area aligned and create a long strong, flexible neck with full range of motion. It will help to decompress the vertebrae and relax the tension build-up.

 

 

Save Your Hips (2.0 hour)

Tools: Gold or Pearl & 2 Black balls

Save Your Hips offers a very deep workout to improve flexibility and range of motion in your hips.  This workout reaches deep into your hip joints, accessing tight and worn out areas you might not be aware of, while also freeing your hips of restriction. The hips are one of the most used and troubling joints in the body, bringing tightness and stiffness with age.

 

 

Save Your Knees (2.0 hour)

Tools: Gold or Pearl & 2 Black balls

The knees are one of the most challenging joints in the body to care for.  We involve our knees in almost every movement (walking, sitting, standing, jumping..) The knees are one of the most over used and impacted joint. This workshop will help keep your knees healthy and strong, so they can last.

 

 

** PURE will provide Gold, Pearl Balls during the workshop, participants need to have their own Black Balls or purchase them through Yamuna ®  from PURE **

Tami Tsang

Tami found Yamuna® Body Rolling when she encountered issues with her health in 2015.  Tami was amazed by how relaxed and free her mind and body was after rolling her body.  She fell in love with the method and decided to learn from Yamuna Zake, founder of the method, to help herself and anyone who can benefit from it.  Tami was a certified Yamuna® Body Rolling practitioner since 2017.   Tami finds it very rewarding when her clients find connections with their bodies in a Yamuna® session.

 

Tami is a teachers’ trainer of Yamuna® body rolling.  She is certified in Yamuna® body rolling, Pelvic floor work, Yamuna® Face ball,  foot fitness using foot wakers, Yamuna® infused Pilates, YBR for Pregnancy and Twist & Scoliosis.
