ABOUT

Transform Your Practice with the Tradition of Universal Yoga Workshop

Do you seek a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit? The Tradition of Universal Yoga Workshop is your opportunity to explore yoga as a holistic practice, blending theory with hands-on application to enhance your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This program focuses on building mastery and understanding of three classic Universal Yoga (UY) sequences while fostering calmness, clarity, and inner strength.

Discover the Essentials of Universal Yoga

Our program is thoughtfully designed to balance foundational principles with practical techniques, ensuring a well-rounded approach to Universal Yoga. Over the course of four engaging sessions, you’ll explore essential alignments, energy flows, and conscious awareness through the guided practice of three iconic sequences:

  • The 8-Directional Cross
  • Beginner’s Mandala
  • Two Square Repetition

Through these sequences, we’ll guide you in understanding the variations of UY asanas, their impact on energy flows, and their connection to internal practices and awareness.

By participating in this workshop, you’ll gain

  • A comprehensive understanding of the foundational principles and general rules of Universal Yoga.
  • Insights into the direction of mobility and the subtler aspects of internal yoga practices.
  • Mastery of alignments and variations for UY asanas tailored to your level.
  • Knowledge of energy flows within classic UY sequences to enhance the effectiveness of your practice.
  • Techniques for self-practice that empower your growth both on and off the mat.

Our blend of theory and practical application will cultivate your physical strength, flexibility, mental clarity, and a serene sense of calmness.

Christina, originally from Hong Kong, is one of the few disciples of Andrey Lappa, founder of Universal Yoga, who is co-teaching and translating the Universal Yoga Teacher Training with Lappa. She is deeply inspired by her root guruji, Andrey Lappa, and she dedicates herself to study with Andrey all around the world, including Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Shanghai and Himalayas these years.
