ABOUT

This event will be held in Cantonese and all details are available in Chinese only. Please visit the Chinese version of the website to learn more.

Spring is a season of renewal, and the Beginning of Spring is the first of the twenty-four solar terms, signifying the start of spring. In Chinese culture, the Beginning of Spring represents a time of revival and rebirth. According to the lunar calendar, the climate during the Beginning of Spring transitions from cold to warm, with the weather gradually warming up and various plants beginning to sprout. Life awakens under the gentle warmth of the sun. It offers us an opportunity to start anew, enriching our minds, revitalizing our bodies, and reconnecting with our spirits.

Dedicate this time to your healing. Allow yourself to pause and experience profound rest for your body, mind, and emotions. Immerse in the soothing resonance of sound, grounding yourself while releasing heaviness and tension, as sound meditation uplifts and nourishes your soul.

With mindful breathing and gentle movement, you’ll open up to the healing vibrations around you. These practices prepare you to be fully enveloped in the transcendent tones of gongs and singing bowls. Together, they invite deep relaxation, help reset your nervous system, melt away stress, and refresh your mind, leaving you calmer and lighter.

Welcome the healing energy of spring. Breathe, release, and step into this season with a sense of balance and renewal.

Start anew. Feel the resonance. Step into spring.

Bernadette Leung
The connectedness and openness after each practice keeps drawing Bernadette back for another class. Having gone through a transformational experience with Ana Forrest, she is deeply influenced by her and wants to share Forrest Yoga with everyone. She believes in creating a supportive environment for students to stay present with the subtle changes that each mindful breath brings to experience the beauty of self-discovery.
Frankie Chan
Frankie, a fitness enthusiast, discovered yoga in 2003 and fell in love with it. After spending time at an Ashram in Visakhapatnam, she decided to dedicate her time to serving others. With extensive experience in traditional Ashram life and continued studies at Vivekananda, Frankie's teaching incorporates humour, encouragement, and a focus on awareness and emotions. Inspired by her guruji's love and spirituality, she aims to help students open their inner selves and practise with love and care at all times.
Tin-Ming Lau
Tin-Ming is an experienced yoga teacher who has been exploring the connection between body, breath, and mind for many years. He is grateful to have learned from renowned teachers and incorporates the use of props to enhance the body-mind connection in yoga. With passion and compassion, Tin-Ming teaches various styles of yoga, empowering students to find a balance between discipline and playfulness and embrace their strengths. Since 2019, he has been organising yoga training to share his knowledge and teachings.
