19 - 28 June 2026 | Pacific Place - Admiralty

The YAMUNA ® Body Rolling Foundations Certification Training Part 1: Posterior Body with Tami Tsang

ABOUT

This training is the starting point for studying all Yamuna® modalities.

This newly revamped 5‑day certification program combines a strong experiential approach to learning anatomy with over 25 years of experience gained through teaching and training practitioners in Yamuna® Body Rolling.

The certification utilizes the AnatomyU® program to guide students through working each muscle to ensure it is fully activated. You will learn how to build muscles sequentially within each area of the body and understand the importance of each muscle in creating an integrated, functional structure.

Using your own body as the laboratory, this study process develops a deep understanding of human anatomy and structure. This knowledge makes you highly effective in helping others problem‑solve and self‑heal. By experiencing firsthand the logic and order of rebuilding the body, you gain tools that enhance whatever modality you are already practicing.

Program Purpose

The goal of this program is to learn how to reorganize the human structure so it functions at its true potential.

The combination of AnatomyU® and Yamuna® Body Rolling (YBR) prepares participants to teach all basic YBR lines in both group classes and private sessions. In most cases, basic YBR classes significantly improve alignment, range of motion, and structural issues.

For more complex cases, the strong anatomy foundation provided by AnatomyU® allows teachers to focus more precisely on muscles requiring additional attention. This integrated approach also enables instructors to offer more flexible class formats, including partial YBR classes with a specific muscular focus.

What You Will Learn

All core concepts unique to Yamuna® Body Rolling are presented on the first day. These include:

  • Direct bone stimulation
  • Weight bearing
  • Traction

Unlike random ball rolling, Yamuna® work involves deep, intentional penetration using specially designed balls that support the body safely while providing resistance and feedback, allowing the body to respond intelligently.

All Yamuna® balls are used throughout the training:

  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Pearl
  • Black

Black balls are used during AnatomyU® for greater detail, while other balls are used for learning the full range of YBR routines. Participants will gain confidence in choosing the appropriate ball based on the routine and client level.

From Day 2 onward, the training includes:

  • Daily practice teaching
  • Hands‑on practice for routines covered the previous day
  • Peer reviews to support teaching skill development

Case studies and modifications are discussed throughout the program to refine problem‑solving skills and individualized client care.
