If you have at least three months of Universal Yoga practice and six months of overall yoga experience (comfortable with Level 1–2 sequences), this workshop is perfect for you. It accommodates practitioners of varying skill levels with tailored options for meaningful engagement.

Syllabus

Part 1: The Tradition of Universal Yoga

Our program is designed to balance foundational principles with practical techniques for a well-rounded approach to Universal Yoga. Over four engaging sessions, you’ll explore essential alignments, energy flows, and conscious awareness through guided practice of three iconic sequences, and you’ll be equipped to begin self-practice, marking a new stage in your learning journey.

 

• The 8-Directional Cross

• The 2 Square Repetition

• Beginner’s Mandala

 

Part 2: The Art of Universal Yoga Mandala

In Part II, you will learn more complex sequences – Universal Yoga Asana Vinyasa Mandala sequences – along with the associated theories. This will deepen your understanding of the tradition of Mandala Yoga, the essential principles and elements, and the significance of a mandala practice.

 

• The Sama Vritti Mandala

• The Visama Vritti Mandala (Creative)

Christina Cheng
Christina never imagined she would become a yoga teacher when she embarked on her journey in 2010. After over a decade of studying closely with Andrey Lappa, she experienced profound personal growth. The insights gained inspired her commitment to sharing yoga. Since 2013, Christina has taught in HK, mainland China, Nepal, and Malaysia, dedicating herself to helping students grasp the essence of yoga and integrate it into their daily lives.
