Ebb and Flow: Exploring Thoracic Movement through Mat and Reformer Pilates with Prian Wong

28 February 2026 | Soundwill Plaza - Causeway Bay

Ebb and Flow: Exploring Thoracic Movement through Mat and Reformer Pilates with Prian Wong

ABOUT

This workshop helps you explore how breathing and axial elongation of the spine can support better upper-back movement through Pilates practice. Using a combination of Mat and Reformer exercises, you will experience how these principles can improve posture, mobility, and overall ease of movement.

The Mat exercises are simple and practical, making them easy to practise at home as part of your daily routine. The Reformer session offers additional support and feedback, helping you feel how breath and length can guide smoother and more comfortable movement. You will learn how the awareness gained on the Reformer can enhance your Mat practice.

There will be lab sessions which will work in pairs to better understand our own bodies through guided observation and hand-on feedback.

This supportive and interactive approach helps deepen body awareness in a safe and encouraging way.

** Participants will pair up and share the reformer. **
