Workshop

End of Year Celebration: Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Sound Healing with Priscilla Van Rooyen

31 December 2023

About this workshop

Letting Go & Celebrating: Movement Meditation & Yoga Nidra to close the year!

Join Priscilla and guest teacher, Prem Sakshi, as they lead you through a 90-min class to celebrate another year around the sun, and to let go of all that doesn’t serve you. Gift yourself this opportunity to start the new year cycle by elevating your consciousness through yoga and meditation and invite a new beginning together!

In the first portion of the class, they will lead you through movement meditation to release stagnant energy and to revitalise the energetic body. The rest of the class will be devoted to restorative yoga poses over bolsters with sound healing and Yoga Nidra Meditation.

After this class of “me-time”, you should feel refreshed and ready to celebrate the start of the new year with the rest of your friends and family!

Priscilla van rooyen
Priscilla started practising yoga in 2009 in Taiwan, discovering its healing powers for her back injury. Her first major teaching influence was Sucharita Jenkins, who encouraged her to undertake teacher training in 2010. Falling in love with Ashtanga in 2014, she studied under Guruji Ajay Kumar in Mysore, India, and developed a deep interest in yoga philosophy. Priscilla's teaching emphasises asana as movement meditation, offering modifications for different injury types, and sharing pieces of yoga philosophy.
