We are thrilled to introduce the Fit Mums Club for future and recent mums! Our programme offers a safe and effective way to stay fit during pregnancy and postpartum. Join us on this incredible journey and let’s stay fit together!

 

Highlights of the Fit Mums Club:

  • Specialised fitness programme for mums-to-be and new mums.
  • Dedicated time slot every Saturday for mums.
  • Variety of activities catered to different fitness goals and interests.
  • Emphasis on safe and suitable exercises for all stages of pregnancy.
  • Fit Mums Club handbooks with personalised schedules and tips.

 

Activities every Saturday include:

  1. Pilates Props: Incorporates modified Pilates exercises with a focus on core strength, posture, and flexibility. Swiss balls and other props will be used.
  2. FUZE Cardio: Low-impact aerobic exercises like ski, air bike, or treadmill climb to maintain cardiovascular fitness without excessive joint stress.
  3. AQUAFit for mums: Water-based exercises provide a low-impact and supportive environment, offering cardiovascular benefits while alleviating discomfort and swelling.
  4. Dance: Modified dance routines focusing on gentle movements, coordination, and flexibility. An enjoyable way for pregnant women to stay active.
  5. Strength training: Light to moderate strength training exercises targeting major muscle groups, emphasising proper form and technique.
  6. Avoiding heavy weights, exercises straining the core, or lying flat on the back.
  7. Yoga for fitness mums: Gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being.
  8. Barre-less classes: Modified barre exercises emphasising stability, balance, and gentle toning, suitable for pregnant women and postnatal women.
  9. Partner workout: Designing a safe and supportive exercise routine involving the pregnant mum’s partner or a friend.
