About this workshop

Yoga is an integral part of an Ayurvedic lifestyle so this session will introduce students to the other important pillars of health in Ayurveda. This knowledge overview along with practical skills of mindful movement, meditation and breathing will give students more insight into ways to keep body, mind and spirit in balanced, good health. The workshop is designed for those who have a basic or no previous understanding of these concepts and will include techniques of mind-body practices that participants can immediately begin using in their daily lives. Students can also decide if they want to complete the full Chopra Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Course on an international retreat with Veronica.


* All levels welcome, no preparation and no requirements

  • History and foundations of Ayurveda
  • Introduction to the Doshas (Mind-body types)
  • Overview of the Ayurveda Pillars of Health to balance the mind and body (Restful sleep, Meditation, Mindful movement, Healthy emotions, Grounding, Breathing practices, Optimal nutrition)
  • Practice mindful movement, pranayama and meditation
