Kuchipudi Immersion Basics, Kavutam and Keertana with Hari Om

12-14, 19-21 January 2024

About this workshop

This 20-hour Immersion is designed for students learning and practising Kuchipudi Dance and aims to improve the knowledge of beginners and provide an opportunity for revision for experienced dancers with choreographies while consolidating their basic skills.

In this course, you will be learning and practising the new choreography of Athana Jatiswaram. Our basic steps (60 Adavus) will be practised, as well as some Jatis.

This is an opportunity to grow as a dancer, become a professional dancer, gain insight into various aspects of the dance form and ultimately attain mastery over what you have learnt. This course is not only for those who want to teach but for all interested students who want to perfect their art form.
