ABOUT

Looking to take your yoga practice to the next level or explore therapeutic techniques through props? The Props in Yoga Workshop Series is the perfect opportunity to revolutionize your practice. Whether you’re new to prop-based methods or looking to deepen your knowledge, this workshop series will teach you how to incorporate the Yoga Wall and chairs effectively to improve alignment, enhance strength, and find new ways to practice.

What You’ll Learn
Throughout this workshop, you’ll discover:
• How to use props to create a safe and therapeutic yoga practice.
• Several prop-based yoga sequences, including techniques for inversions.
• The benefits of integrating the Yoga Wall and chair yoga into your personal practice.
This course is designed for yoga practitioners of all experience levels, yoga teachers, therapists, and eldercare professionals who seek deeper insights and innovative approaches to yoga.

Wall Rope Yoga
Based on BKS Iyengar’s principles of alignment, Wall Rope Yoga uses straps, ropes, and hooks attached to the Yoga Wall to elevate your practice. These tools can:
• Deepen your poses.
• Provide spinal traction, alleviating pressure on the back and neck.
• Improve flexibility and alignment through supported inversions and extensions.
The Yoga Wall isn’t just a tool for flexibility; it’s a gateway to exploring your practice from a new perspective. Through hands-on demonstrations, this session will empower you with techniques to nourish and heal your spine, neck, and overall posture.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is a supportive, accessible, and versatile practice. Whether you’re an active senior, recovering from an injury, or looking to improve mobility, chair yoga adapts to all levels and abilities. Highlights include:
• Building strength and flexibility with sitting, standing, and balancing exercises.
• Gentle and effective sequences to mobilize joints and reduce pain.
• Breathing and relaxation exercises to soothe the mind and body.
This method is beneficial for eldercare specialists, physical therapists, and yoga instructors looking to expand their skill set and make yoga accessible to everyone.

Why Join Us?
Props in Yoga aren’t just tools; they’re companions in your yoga journey. Through this workshop, you’ll:
• Gain a deeper understanding of alignment and therapeutic practices.
• Enhance flexibility, focus, and confidence in your poses.
• Elevate your teaching skills if you’re a yoga instructor or open up new ways to assist others in therapeutic settings.
