This is a 2.5-hour informative and practical workshop on inversions focusing on inverted poses from a holistic point of view. This workshop will focus on basic inversions like Shoulder Stands, Headstands, and variations, as well as the various tools and mindsets necessary to help you get into them. We will be using different techniques and props to get into the inversions safely according to individual needs.
Yoga practice, in particular, inversions has enormous health benefits. However, contraindications and precautions must be observed for each pose for safety reasons. This session is suitable for students who have never done inversions before but want to learn with proper guidance and students with a consistent basic level of practice looking to improve their inversions or progress to level 1 classes.
